For partners, friends & family

Helping a man you care about find therapy.

You can help him find an option. He gets to decide whether it feels right.

A way to open the conversation

Offer a starting point.
Leave room for his choice.

You may be looking for a partner, brother, adult son or friend. You don’t need to explain his life for him or persuade him to tell his whole story.

If he wants help looking, share an option and let him explore it in his own time. Here is a simple way to introduce this page:

“I found this therapist and thought the approach might interest you. No pressure—take a look if you want.”

If he is ready, he can contact Michael himself to ask about fit or request an appointment.

More about Michael ↗

Michael provides individual therapy for adult men, with a focus on trauma from childhood experiences through present-day relationship issues, communication and rebuilding trust.

His solutions-focused approach makes room to understand old patterns and choose practical next steps. The person in therapy helps set the goals; progress and pace are individual.

This is individual therapy, rather than couples counseling. It is a place for him to work on what he wants to change.
