Work with me

You don’t have to
carry this alone.

Therapy for adult men and women ready to understand what is happening beneath the surface and work toward change. Men’s trauma is a particular focus of my practice.

Individual therapy

Grounded.
Honest.
Useful.

You may arrive here after years of carrying too much alone—stress, trauma, shame, numbness, relationship patterns, identity questions, or a sense that life isn’t lining up the way it should.

This is a place where you don’t have to perform, hold it together, or pretend. We can talk openly about what is happening and decide together what needs attention.

You are a human being trying to make sense of your life. You don’t have to do that in isolation.

The work we can do together

Individual therapy for adults
01

Childhood & sexual trauma

Work through experiences from childhood, including sexual abuse, and their impact on trust, self-worth, and closeness. You don’t have to tell your whole story in the first conversation.

02

Relationships & rebuilding trust

Make sense of recurring conflict, communicate more openly, and work toward changes in how you relate to the people who matter to you.

03

Substance use &
compulsive patterns

Talk honestly about alcohol or drugs, problematic pornography use, or sexual behavior that feels difficult to control. Look at its impact and what you want to change.

04

Identity, purpose &
career changes

Explore questions about work, job changes, anxiety, self-worth, and what you want your life to look like now. ADHD-related difficulties with attention, overwhelm, and follow-through can be part of this work.

Questions before we begin

Do I need to know exactly what to talk about?

No. You may have a specific concern or just a sense that something is not working. We can begin there.

Can we work together from where I live?

I am licensed in New York, Colorado, and Connecticut. Telehealth eligibility depends on where you will be physically located for sessions and applicable professional requirements. We will confirm eligibility and availability before scheduling.

What about insurance?

Insurance options vary by state and the plans I currently accept. Reach out to ask about your coverage before scheduling.

Is this individual therapy or couples counseling?

This page describes individual therapy for adults. Relationship concerns can be part of that work. We can discuss a separate referral if couples counseling is what you need.

How is coaching different?

Coaching focuses on personal goals, decisions, and direction. It is a separate service from psychotherapy. If you are interested in coaching, ask about scope, fit, availability, and fees before booking.
